CRIF Jordan Holds Annual Workshop for Credit Enquiry Service Subscribers

 

CRIF Jordan held its annual workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 26 and 27, 2024, graciously hosted by the Amman Chamber of Commerce, with distinguished attendance from representatives of the Central Bank of Jordan. The first day was dedicated to the banking sector, while the second day focused on data providers from other sectors. More than three hundred participants representing all sectors involved in the credit enquiry service attended the workshop.

The workshop covered many important topics, starting with a review of CRIF Jordan's achievements after eight years of operations, the services available to subscribers, and the company's future plans and projects.

Additionally, various areas of mutual interest were discussed, such as the technical requirements for the service and the mechanisms for handling data and clients, highlighted by practical case studies and common challenges related to credit enquiry services.

Notably, topics concerning information security and compliance with the Credit Information Law and the regulations issued thereunder were also addressed.

Mr. Ahmad Amoudi, The Managing Director of CRIF Jordan, expressed his appreciation for the contributions of the workshop participants, emphasizing that the feedback from this workshop and previous ones is the main driver for improving the services that CRIF Jordan provides to its clients across different sectors. He added, "I feel proud and honored when I see such a large number of participants engaging with every topic discussed, as it indicates the awareness of the importance of the credit enquiry service, which has become one of the main tools relied upon by financing institutions in assessing credit risks and protecting their assets. I also thank the institutions that shared their expertise in digital transformation, data quality, and providing digital credit reports to their clients through banking applications, particularly Arab Bank, Jordan Bank, and Union Bank. In conclusion, I affirm that we at CRIF Jordan are fully committed to providing the best services according to the highest international standards in the credit information sector, and we look forward to active participation in upcoming workshops from various sectors in the Kingdom."
