What is the Credit Information Company?

It is a company operating under the Credit Information Law (2010/15), specializing in the collection of credit information related to individuals and companies to be provided to credit providers for the purposes of credit risk assessment. CRIF Jordan is Jordanian Company licensed by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) in accordance with the provisions of the Credit Information Law in order to provide credit inquiry services.

Credit information is collected in an official and legal manner from data providers in the Kingdom (such as banks, financial leasing companies, credit sales companies, non-banking financing companies) and the data includes information identifying the individual / company and their related credit contracts.

How to get a copy of the credit report?

Each person has the right to obtain a copy of his credit report free of charge one time per year, by communicating with CRIF Jordan. CRIF Jordan operates under the supervision of the Central Bank of Jordan.
