What is a Credit Report?

A credit report is a report that contains detailed information related to the transactions of individuals who have obtained credit facilities from credit providers in various sectors. The information is obtained and updated from credit providers in a periodical and automated manner, which reflects the credit status of individuals and companies as of the date of the update.

The function of CRIF Jordan is limited to providing credit reports to credit providers subscribing to the service and has no role in the making of credit decisions. Rather, the credit decisions are the responsibility of banks and financial institutions solely in accordance with their internal product and operational policies applicable at each facility.
